The TCU Women’s Rugby club is participating in their first game of the season Saturday.

The club will be participating in their first tournament hosted at home against Texas State University, Rice University and Sam Houston State University.

TCU Women’s Rugby club president and social work major Katie Barr said there are only seven team members playing in Saturday’s game.

“We’re trying to work with the girls, and hopefully they will figure out that we’re serious about rugby,” TCU Women’s Rugby club Head Coach Erin House said, “and they will spread the word so we can have more games throughout the year.”
