TCU is slated to host a forum showcasing influential world leaders. The first Vicente Fox Forum of World Leaders event is set for Nov. 30 in the Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom.
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is slated to be the forum’s speaker.
“Marta and I feel passionate about strengthening the bridges between the Americas by investing in our emerging leaders,” Fox said. Marta is his wife.
Future speakers include former Prime Minister of Spain José María Aznar, former Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chrétien, former President of Poland Lech Walesa and former President and Prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres.
“It is important for our students to learn from world leaders’ experiences and the challenges they faced while leading during difficult times,” Chancellor Victor Boschini, Jr. said.
Juan Hernandez, a TCU alumnus, helped Fox connect with TCU to lead the Forum.
“It gives me great pleasure to bring together friendships I have forged in other nations with my alma mater TCU and my home, Fort Worth,” Hernandez said.
The Forum is free for students from TCU, other universities and surrounding high schools.
Forum times and dates will be listed on TCU's News & Events Calendar as each month begins. Contact Nancy Styles to attend the Forum on Nov. 30 featuring Fox.
