Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice received a TCU football jersey from Chancellor Victor Boschini Wednesday at a World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth event.

Council President and CEO Jim Falk and Boschini wanted to give Rice something, and decided on a TCU football jersey because of her love of sports.

“She’s a big athletics fan,” Boschini said. “She loved it.”

Rice visited Fort Worth and Dallas to discuss her new memoir, “No Higher Honor: A Memoir of My Years in Washington.” Boschini was invited to an event and said Rice’s speech was brilliant and inspirational.
