Music in the 109 this week, Dec. 4-10

Hello fellow snow bunnies. Great news: The Moon is re-opening its Berry St. location for the week. Big Mikes Box of Rock will play at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at The Moon. In case you haven’t heard, The Moon has moved locations. Although they have re-located, the new venue is not ready, therefore, all performances this week will be held at the Berry location. Next door, Ross Shifflett will play at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Aardvark.

Manderly St, Nick Verzosa, and The Noble Union will play at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Aardvark. Manderly St is a band of TCU students who play Texas country/ alternative covers and originals mostly from the 90s. Both country bands, Rob Cavender and Jeff Whitehead will play at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Aardvark. Outback Special, a rock band of TCU students, will play at 10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at The Moon. The Outback Special brings excited crowds who usually pack the house, so be sure to arrive on time.

Rock bands Romantic Machines and Panic Volcanic will play starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at The Cellar. Doors open at 7 p.m. Across the street, Dollars & Cents will play at 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Aardvark. Big Mike’s Black Sabbath Tribute will play at 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at The Moon.
