TCU starting wide receiver Antoine Hicks will not be available when the Frogs take on Louisiana Tech Wednesday night in the Poinsettia Bowl, head coach Gary Patterson said.

Patterson said Hicks, a senior from Mansfield, violated school policy and that the issue was not academically related.

Hicks is fourth on the team with 347 yards receiving on 33 catches, including one touchdown grab.

True freshman David Porter, who has five catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns on the year, likely start in place of Hicks. Porter has seen action in all 12 of the Frogs' games.
