COVID-19 impacted Sharpe's first year, but he didn't let that hold him back from achieving so much as a Horned Frog.

Lady Frogs host Wyoming tonight

The TCU women’s basketball team will finish its regular season Tuesday at home against Wyoming.

The Lady Horned Frogs (15-13 overall, 8-5 MWC) won their third straight conference game Saturday. They defeated New Mexico 63-52 after being down 10 points in the second half.
Three TCU players scored in double figures. Freshman guard Natalie Ventress posted a game-high 18 points and team-high nine rebounds.

Wyoming (11-15 overall, 7-6 MWC) fell 61-53 at Boise State on Saturday. It was the Cowgirls’ second straight conference loss.

Wyoming junior forward Chaundra Sewell scored 27 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds in the loss. It was her 11th double-double of the season.

Junior forward Delisa Gross said TCU needed to play physical defense and rebound better than it did in earlier in the season when the Frogs lost 64-54.

TCU would focus on boxing out Sewell every time a shot went up, Thompson said.

Gross said Tuesday should be a special night for TCU. It would be Thompson’s final home game as well as the regular season finale.

“We will be going for our fourth win in a row, so we will need to play really well to try and get the win as we head into the conference tournament and postseason play,” she said.
