Former TCU safety receives probation in connection to February drug arrests

Former Horned Frog safety Devin Johnson pleaded guilty Friday on delivery of marijuana.

Johnson, 21, pleaded guilty to three charges of delivery of marijuana and is sentenced to 36 months of deferred adjudication probation and must pay a $300 fine and court costs.

In March, Johnson was charged with three cases of delivery of marijuana, more than .25 ounces but less than five pounds.

Johnson is one of four TCU football players associated with the arrest of 16 students in February's drug bust. Johnson is the fifth person associated with the February drug arrests to receive probation.
