Here's five big home games for the Frogs this season:
TCU vs. Texas Tech – 01/05/13
Much like SMU, Texas Tech is a rivalry game for the Frogs. Also, it will mark TCU's first Big 12 game for men's basketball. The Red Raiders struggled last season, finishing with an 8-23 record including a 75-69 loss to the Frogs.
TCU vs. Kansas State – 01/16/13
While the boys in Lawrence get the majority of the hype, those who follow Big 12 basketball know their in-state rival, the Kansas State Wildcats, are nothing to sniff at. Behind a great coach in Frank Martin, the Wildcats went 22-11 last season and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Syracuse.
TCU vs. Kansas – 02/06/13
The Kansas Jayhawks made it to the NCAA Tournament finals last year before losing to Anthony Davis and the Kentucky Wildcats. Despite the losses of Tyshawn Taylor and Thomas Robinson, Bill Self somehow always manages to reload his talent. The Frogs will most likely be huge underdogs for this game (especially if KU is making a run at a #1 or #2 seed) but the louder and crazier the Daniel-Myers Coliseum can get, the better chance they have to pull out the upset.
TCU vs. Texas – 02/19/13
The name to the right of TCU should say it all. The will Frogs take on Rick Barnes and the relatively young Texas Longhorns at home. Texas is usually Kansas' toughest competition for the Big 12 title. While a win may be bit of a long shot, the Frogs could spoil the Longhorns' season.
