Frogs trail Houston at halftime

The Houston Cougars jumped out to an early 10-0 lead against TCU and maintained the lead 27-19 at halftime.

Forward Adrick McKinney led TCU with eight points and 10 rebounds. Forward Thomas TaShawn had eight points for the Cougars.

Houston jumped out to a 10-0 lead while the Frogs started 0-for-10 from the field.  McKinney scored TCU’s first point from the free throw line. The Frogs went on a run to cut the lead to 16-10.

Guard Charles Hill Jr. hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead down to 17-13 and a layup by guard Connell Crossland made the deficit two. The Cougars hit back-to-back buckets and a 3-pointer to take a 27-19 lead into halftime.
