A female TCU student reported that she was sexually assaulted on Dec. 7 by a TCU male acquaintance in a residence hall, according to a crime bulletin from Detective Vicki Lawson.

The identity of the male in question is unavailable at this time. According to the crime bulletin, Fort Worth Police is leading the investigation and will be assisted by TCU Police.

This marks the third reported sexual assault since the fall semester began.

The crime bulletin was sent to all students on Dec. 7 after 4 p.m.
