TCU alumna Paige Zinsou will be among the guests attending one of the White House Holiday Open Houses put on by the President and the First Lady this holiday season.

Zinsou, a 2011 TCU graduate, is currently pursuing a Master’s of Education in Administration at the university. She was selected as one of the one of 334 advisers with the National College Advising Corps program across the country to represent the Corps at the open house, according to a Advising Corps press release.

Matt Burkhalter, program coordinator for the the university’s chapter of AdviseTX/Texas College Advising Corps, described Zinsou as an exceptional adviser.

“Paige is a hardworking, dedicated and resourceful adviser who has helped hundreds of students realize their college dreams, he said. “I couldn’t be more proud of her success.”

Zinsou had helped increase the ApplyTexas applicant rates and FAFSA submissions rates among her students over the past year. She is in her second year of service with the Advising Corps and she serves at Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth.  

Over 90,000 people are expected to visit the White House over the holiday season, according to the White House website.

Zinsou will now be among one of the guests that will witness the glittering White House during the merriest and most festive times of the year.
