A dunk by center Isaiah Austin followed by a foul on the dunk and a technical foul call on Trent Johnson helped the Baylor Bears cap an 18-0 run with less than four minutes left until halftime.

The Bears kept their distance from TCU the rest of the half to take a 43-26 halftime lead.

Guard Pierre Jackson led the Bears with 11 points while Austin chipped in nine. Austin was helped off the court by two teammates on the way to the locker room.  

Adrick McKinney had six points for the Frogs and Nate Butler Lind chipped in four. The Frogs shot 29 percent from the field.

Baylor hit 5-of-8 3-pointers including two apiece by guards Brady Heslip and Gary Franklin.
