After enduring its second loss of the season on Saturday, Kansas will come to Fort Worth looking to start a new winning streak.

Kansas (19-2 overall, 7-1 Big 12) dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 due to an 85-80 loss to Oklahoma State. Redshirt freshman guard Ben McLemore had 23 points to lead the Jayhawks. It was his sixth 20-point game this season.

The Jayhawks top the conference in blocked shots per game (7.28) and opponent field goal percentage (.354).

TCU will try to improve on its shooting performance against Texas after hitting its lowest in-conference percentage from the field (.327, 17-of-52). The Frogs shot a season-low .265 (13-of-49) from the field against Northwestern on Nov. 23.

Senior forward Adrick McKinney posted with his third-straight double-digit outing of the season against Texas. He led the Frogs in scoring for the second-straight game with13 points. He added eight rebounds.

The Frogs will try to slow down a Jayhawks offense that puts up 74 points per game and hitting a Big 12-leading 47.8 percent of its shots. McLemore’s 16.4 points per game is second overall in the Big 12.

Kansas has two of the top rebounders in the conference in senior center Jeff Withey (8.3 rpg) and senior forward Kevin Young (6.8). McKinney is No. 9 in the conference, pulling in 6.9 boards per contest.

Withey also leads the conference with 4.24 blocked shots per game.

TCU has dropped its five previous home meetings against top-5 teams. The Frogs and Jayhawks last played each other in 2004 in Lawrence, Kan. The No. 2-ranked Jayhawks downed the Frogs 93-74.

TCU and Kansas will tip-off at 8 p.m. in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The sold-out contest will be televised on ESPNU.
