Lulu app allows women to rate men

Lulu, a new app that allows women to anonymously rate men, has received mixed reviews from college-aged individuals.

Lulu is exclusively designed for women to read and write reviews about men through a variety of tools and questionnaires, according to its website.

“I created Lulu because my girlfriends and I needed it,” founder Alexandra Chong said on her website.

The app takes men’s basic information such as relationship status, age and college from their Facebook pages.

Lulu allows women to search for men under several categories including high scores, low scores, nearby and funny.

Women can rate men anonymously on characteristics such as manners, humor, appearance, commitment and sex.

The app also allows women to describe guy friends or ex-boyfriends with numerous hashtags such as #VideoGamer, #EpicSmile, #NerdyButILikeIt and #StrongHands.

Lulu was first launched at Florida State University and the University of Florida, according to Chong’s blog. She launched Lulu to the rest of the country on Feb. 5.
