The Big 12 Conference announced Thursday night that the Indoor Track and Field Championships will be postponed by one day due to a winter storm. 

The midwestern snowstorm caused travel delays for some of the teams competing. There were three to five inches of snow at Iowa State, the host for the meet.

The Big 12 Conference athletic directors voted unanimously on the postponement. 

According to a press release, the schedule will be moved back one day, but the times for the events will remain the same. Instead of competing on Friday and Saturday, the competitions will be on Saturday and Sunday.
