Oklahoma State went on a 7-0 run in the final 75 seconds of the first half to grab a 38-24 lead over TCU.
The Frogs trailed 20-12 with less than 10 minutes left but five straight points from guard Kyan Anderson cut the lead to three. The Cowboys extended the lead back to seven on a fast break layup by forward Le’Bryan Nash with 7:07 left.
Oklahoma State scored 14 points in the final seven minutes, including back-to-back turnaround jumpers by Nash. Anderson hit a 3-pointer and forward Adrick McKinney had a free throw during that stretch for the Frogs.
Anderson had eight points for TCU while Nash posted 14 to lead the Cowboys.
