Women’s golf finishes twelfth at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

The TCU women’s golf team finished 12th in team standings as play concluded at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Alexandra Bonetti had the team’s low score on Sunday with a 75, and Kortnie Maxoutopoulis recorded a team-best three birdies. Bonetti birdied 14 holes and tied Maxoutopoulis for 32nd individually. 

Katy Cardno and Apri McCoy had their best rounds of the tournament with a 77 and 78, respectively.

Of the 15 teams at the tournament, No. 4 Alabama captured the title with an 876, four shots ahead of No. 35 LSU and No. 11 Vanderbilt. Eight teams that attended the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate are ranked in Golfstat's top 20.

TCU returns to action March 22, when it begins play at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La.
