New Music Tuesday will leave you satisfied

New Music Tuesday will leave you satisfied

Every Tuesday, new singles and albums are released into the music world that satisfy our music needs. This week included a big album release from Justin Timberlake, the “Les Miserables soundtrack and a new single from Will.i.am.

The much-anticipated release of Timberlake’s album “The 20/20 Experience” has already hit No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart, beating out P!nk, Bruno Mars and Luke Bryan. Easily deserving of the No. 1 spot, it features the single “Suit & Tie,” which was released in early January. As of Wednesday, “Mirrors is the top selling and top rated song on Timberlake’s album.

In addition to Timberlake’s release of his album, he confirmed Monday night at the iHeartRadio Album Release Party that fans can expect a sequel to “The 20/20 Experience.” The release of this second album has not been mentioned yet, but it needs to be soon because the first album was a knockout.

Another huge album that has hit stores is the “Les Miserables movie soundtrack. The album features performances by Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen and Amanda Seyfried.

The album has already broken into the top ten on the iTunes Top Albums chart. According to iTunes, this includes the top selling song “Do You Hear the People Sing?” It is definitely an album to listen to, especially for big fans of the movie and musical enthusiasts.

Another release is the soundtrack of AMC’s “The Walking Dead. The first volume of the series features tracks from Of Monsters and Men, Delta Spirit and Jamie N. Commons. According to iTunes, the top selling song on the album is “Lead Me Home by Commons.

Two other great songs on the album, despite not hitting the top-sellers, are “Sinking Man” by Of Monsters and Men and “Running by Delta Spirit. With great music like this in the first volume, there is much anticipation for a second volume from this hit show.

Big fans of pop will definitely love Will.i.am’s new single featuring teen heartthrob Justin Bieber. The single “#thatPOWER” is No. 3 on the iTunes Top Singles chart as of Wednesday. Any will.i.am fan will love this song.

For those who do not like him or Bieber may not like this single. The single has a similar beat to Will.i.am and Britney Spears' “Scream & Shout.”

Furthermore, Kid Cudi fans are in luck this week. Cudi released single “Immortal Tuesday, which will make the mouse on your computer constantly hover over the repeat button. Cudi mentioned this past week at South by Southwest in Austin that a new album should be anticipated. It will appear on his third studio-album and will feature 18 songs.
