The baseball team will look to stop its two-game slide Wednesday night as the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks travel to Fort Worth.

The Horned Frogs are coming off a series loss against the Dons of University of San Francisco. The second to last non-Big 12 Conference series ended up becoming the Frogs’ fifth series loss of the season.

The Lumberjacks come into the game with a three-game winning streak after sweeping Oral Roberts over the weekend. This will be the 13th time the two teams have met, and TCU holds a 9-3 record in the overall series. The Frogs are 2-1 under head coach Jim Schlossnagle. The Lumberjacks won 4-3 in the last game the two teams played in the 2011 series.

TCU sophomores Keaton Jones and Kevin Cron will bring with them a five-game streak of reaching base safely. A win for the Horned Frogs on Wednesday will give them a win before getting back into conference, as the Frogs will play the Oklahoma State Cowboys to finish a nine-game homestead.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 Wednesday night at Lupton Stadium.
