Student body officer candidates began campaigning for elections today, including current Treasurer Cody Westphal, who is running against the current Vice President for External Affairs, Graham McMillan, for student body president.
McMillan, a junior political science major, created a Facebook page and planted posters around campus for the 2013 Student Government Association elections with his slogan, "Act justly, love mercy and walk humbly."
Westphal, a sophomore finance major, also created a Facebook page detailing his platform, which includes goals in three categories: progressive goal setting, establishing new TCU traditions and servant-leadership.
Current Vice President of Operations Lauren Sharp is running for re-election against Nick Daigle, the current chairman of the student experience committee.
Current House of Student Representatives member Hillary Shepheard, a sophomore strategic communication major, is running for Vice President for External Affairs.
