The TCU track and field team will travel to Austin this weekend for the Texas Invitational.
The Horned Frogs will compete against University of Texas, Baylor, Texas Tech, Cal State Northridge, Houston, the University of Texas San Antonio and Texas State.
Baylor and Texas Tech are both nationally ranked in the top-25. TCU competed in a three-team meet last weekend against two top 25 nationally ranked teams, LSU and UCLA.
The meet gives TCU a chance to compete against other Big 12 schools.
The meet is one day and will not be scored. A non-scoring event means there is no team-scoring component of the meet, according to the University of Texas athletics website.
Athletes can focus more on individual performances and not worry about whether the score will hurt or help the team score, according to the website.
The meet starts Saturday at the Mike A. Myers Stadium. Field events will begin at 1 p.m. and running events will begin at 4 p.m.
