The men’s golf team finished the final round of the Morris Williams Intercollegiate in third place Sunday at the University of Texas Golf Course.
The No. 7 Frogs shared the lead entering the final round with No. 3 Texas and No. 4 New Mexico.
In a breezy final round TCU finished at two-over-par overall, six shots off the lead. UT claimed first on their home course, posting an overall team score four-under.
Texas Tech finished in second place at one-over-par. Sunday’s windy conditions kept all the teams in the field under par during the final round.
The Frogs' third place finish marks the seventh top-3 performance in eight spring tournaments this season.
Sophomore Julien Brun helped pace TCU on the individual leaderboard, finishing third overall at five-under-par. Senior Eli Cole finished in sole possession of 13th place at two-over-par.
Senior Pontus Gad finished 3-over and grabbed a piece of 14th place. Senior Daniel Jennevret also completed the tournament with a top-20 finish, tying for 19th.
The Frogs will travel to Atlanta Friday for one final match before the Big 12 Championship, taking on Georgia Tech in a dual match at Capital City Club.
