The men’s golf team held on for a narrow victory at Crabapple Course at Capital City Club against Georgia Tech.

TCU took three of Friday’s six individual matches.

Outright victories were claimed by seniors Eli Cole and Daniel Jennevret and sophomore Thomas Mantovanini.  Sophomore No. 4 Julien Brun halved his match against Georgia Tech’s top player, Ollie Schniederjans, to help provide the winning margin.

Friday's dual match served as a preview for the Frogs of the course where the NCAA Championship will be held.
The Frogs head into the championship portion of their schedule at Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kan., early next week for their inaugural appearance in the Big 12 Golf Championship.

The practice round begins Sunday followed by three days of competition. Competition will begin Monday with 36 holes and the final two rounds will be played Tuesday and Wednesday.
