The TCU Horned Frogs are ranked third overall in the Big 12's official preseason media poll.

The poll, comprised of ballots by 43 media members who cover the conference, was released Thursday morning. TCU finished with 347 total points and nine first-place votes, the second most first-place votes in the conference. 

Oklahoma State, with 15 first-place votes and 365 total points, finished at the top of the poll.

According to the poll rules, 15 total points are given for first place votes, 14 points for second-place, and so on. The final placing is set below, with first place votes placed in brackets:
