After a slew of watch lists alerts, 10 TCU football players have found themselves in the running for 14 national awards.
All-American cornerback Jason Verrett leads the Horned Frogs with his appearance on five watch lists, while quarterback Casey Pachall and defensive end Devonte Fields both appear on three watchlists each.
TCU has four players on the preseason All-Big 12 team, tying with Texas Tech for the second-most All-Big 12 players on the list.
TCU members of the All-Big 12 squad include Fields – who was also named preseason Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year – along with Verrett, Pachall and placekicker Jaden Oberkrom.
