A female student reported being sexually assaulted by a known acquaintance on Sunday, Sept. 8, according to a crime alert email sent out by TCU police. 

The student reported that the assault occurred at an on-campus residence hall, according to the email.

The email did not indicate which residence hall or list any details about the assault.

The email included suggestions to prevent sexual assault and phone numbers for on-campus resources for help or counseling.
