Trent Johnson received his first commitment of the 2014 recruiting class Saturday from Oklahoma native Chauncey Collins.
Collins tweeted about his commitment Saturday.
Collins is a combo guard who can play both the point guard and shooting guard positions. Collins’ home-school team won the national championship this summer as Collins poured in 32 points. Facing North Carolina commit Justin Jackson (ranked 8th nationally), Collins scored 22 fourth quarter points to lead his OKC Storm team to a comeback win.
Colins also won the Maravich award, given to the best home-schooled player in the country
Collins chose TCU over offers from Texas Tech and South Florida among others.
