Former President of Guatemala Vinicio Cerezo spoke today from 10:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the BLUU as part of the final part of the Vicente Fox Forum of World Leaders.
Cerezo was Guatemala’s first democratically elected president and served from 1986-1991.
In 1987, he signed the Esquipulas Peace Agreement along with the presidents of Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua, which was instrumental in establishing democracy and bringing peace to Central America.
