The women’s basketball team lost 72-68 in overtime to SMU after rallying from a double-digit second-half deficit.

Junior guard Donielle Breaux led the Frogs in scoring with a career-high 20 points while snagging eight rebounds.

The Frogs (1-1) were down by 11 points at the 16:43 mark of the second half when Breaux drained her second 3-pointer of the game to start a Frogs rally.

It was for naught, however, as SMU took the lead in overtime and never looked back.

The Frogs will return to action when they host Texas State Saturday. The game will be at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum and tip-off is at 7 p.m.
