This season, Meacham’s first year on staff at Houston, the Cougars have averaged 33.9 points and 422.5 yards per game. Meacham was previously an assistant coach at Oklahoma State from 2005 to 2012, coaching wide receivers and tight ends. He coordinated the Cowboys’ passing game in 2008 and 2009
The Horned Frogs were second to last in the Big 12 in total offense this season (344.8 yards per game) and had the third-worst scoring offense in the league (25.1 points per game).
TCU head coach Gary Patterson told the Star-Telegram that the offensive coordinator position is open but has not been officially filled. He did not comment on the status of Jarrett Anderson and Rusty Burns, who were co-offensive coordinators for the Frogs this season.
Anderson and Burns are both still listed as members of the coaching staff by TCU Athletics.
