The TCU women’s basketball team fell 63-52 on the road Saturday night to the Oklahoma Sooners (13-7, 4-3 Big 12).
The Frogs made only 16 percent of their shots in the first half and ended the game shooting a paltry 24.1 percent from the field.
Junior forward Natalie Ventress had a team-high 14 points, hitting a season-high four three-pointers on eight attempts in the loss.
TCU actually outrebounded Oklahoma 39-37 and grabbed 18 offensive boards.
Donielle Breaux, a junior guard who transferred from the University of Kansas, added 11 points.
The Frogs are now 12-7 on the season and 3-4 in Big 12 play. Their next matchup is Wednesday night against No. 8-ranked Oklahoma State (17-1, 6-1 Big 12)
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
