Freshman guard Jada Butts will miss the rest of the season with an apparent knee injury, according to TCU women’s basketball team’s official Twitter page.
Butts was averaging 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game this season. She suffered the injury during TCU’s 63-52 loss to Oklahoma on Saturday night.
The Frogs are currently 12-7 on the season and 3-4 in Big 12 play.
Their next matchup is scheduled for Wednesday night against No. 8 Oklahoma State (17-1, 6-1 Big 12). Tip-off is listed at 7 p.m. CT from Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
