The TCU men’s golf team finished third out of 20 teams Saturday at the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawaii.
They tied with University of Oregon and University of Southern California with a total score of 835 on the last day of competition.
TCU’s Chelso Barrett and Julien Brun both shot a total score of 206, tying for ninth place out of 118 players in the competition. Sarosh Adi shot a career-low with a score of 67 to tie for 30th place, the best finish so far in his career.
Giulio Castagnara tied for 84th place with a score of 219, and shot an eagle on the 18th hole.
TCU came in four points behind University of Washington, who took second with a final tally of 831. Oklahoma State took first place, shooting 819.
TCU’s next tournament will be in Palm Desert, Calif. at the Desert Intercollegiate on Feb. 21st.
