The TCU men’s basketball team lost their thirteenth consecutive game Wednesday night, this time against the Kansas State Wildcats 65-53.
Junior guard Kyan Anderson scored a game-high 23 points in the road loss. Anderson leads the Big 12 in scoring over the last month and averages 16.6 points per game this season.
The Frogs (9-16, 0-13 Big) trailed the Wildcats (18-8, 8-5 Big 12) by one at halftime but couldn’t hold on in the second half and were outscored 38-27 in the second half. The also lost the battle of the boards once again, getting outrebounded 47-24.
TCU next takes on Iowa State (20-5, 8-5 Big 12) at home Saturday afternoon. The Frogs allowed Cyclones forward Melvin Ejim to score a career-high 48 points last time the two teams met.
