The TCU women’s basketball team closed their regular season with a 51-46 road win over Kansas State.

Sophomore guard Zahna Medley scored a game-high 18 points in the season finale and senior center Latricia Lovings recorded her 69th consecutive game with a blocked shot.

With the win, the Frogs finish the regular season with a 17-13 record overall and 8-10 record in Big 12 play. The team’s record is a marked improvement over last year’s 9-21 (2-16 Big 12) squad.

TCU will next compete in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. The first round of the tournament is scheduled for March 7 from Oklahoma City, Okla.
