The No. 13-ranked TCU baseball team won its ninth straight game Wednesday night, blasting Stephen F. Austin on the road, 14-4.
The Frogs opened strong early, jumping out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning. Junior centerfielder Cody Jones led the way for the purple and white, notching two hits and three runs in the win.
TCU improves to 31-13 on the season with the win. The Frogs return to conference play Friday night as they begin their three-game series with Kansas State.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. from Lupton Stadium.
