The Frogs helped the conference win last year’s challenge by beating Mississippi State on the road 71-61. The win kicked off a five-game winning streak for TCU before the purple and white lost their final 19 games.
In their second year in the Big 12, the Frogs finished 9-22 and 0-18 in conference play.
The Big 12 won last year’s challenge with a 7-3 record. The conference has posted a 35-23 record in its last two challenge series, according to the release.
“The Big 12 was thrilled with the success of the Challenge last season,” Commissioner Bob Bowlsby said. “We are equally excited about this year’s games that will continue to add quality opponents to our strong non-conference schedules as we look to defend our performance as the nation’s No. 1 conference.”
The Rebels and Frogs are expected to take the court Dec. 4 in Oxford, Miss. TCU’s full schedule for next season has not been released yet.
