The graduating class of Spring 2014 marked the biggest graduating class in recorded history of TCU, according to Chancellor Victor Boschini.
Boschini said that 1,680 students graduated on Saturday, May 10, at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
The graduation was also held at Amon G. Carter for the first time. Boschini said that the biggest complaint was that it was too long.
The ceremony lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:44 p.m.
Boschini said that even someone with the most generous attention span can’t handle that amount of time.
The chancellor added December’s graduation is fine because it’s about the students, but TCU has reserved the convention center downtown for the May 2015 graduation because the school doesn’t have a place indoors where everyone can fit.
