We’re almost one week removed from the start of the 2014 NFL Draft so let’s take a look at where members of the 2013-14 Horned Frog football team have landed.
Jason Verrett, cornerback
Team: San Diego Chargers
A two-time All-American and former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, Verrett is the only player on this list to be drafted in the NFL Draft. The Chargers took the California native with the 25th pick, which is the highest a Frog has been drafted since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2001.
Verrett is expected to wear No. 22 in San Diego, according to the team’s roster. He started 34 games in his TCU career, racking up 160 tackles, nine interceptions and 34 pass breakups in three seasons.
You can see Verrett’s introductory press conference from Friday here.
Casey Pachall, quarterback
Team: Toronto Argonauts
After making a comeback to TCU following a DWI incident, Pachall signed a three-year deal with the Argonauts Wednesday afternoon, according to Rick Gosselin of the Dallas-Morning News.
Ex-TCU QB Casey Pachall is CFL bound, signing a 3-year deal with Toronto Argonauts. Good move. Good place to rebuild his stock as QB.

The Argonauts are a part of the Canadian Football League and went 11-7 last season.
Pachall finished his career as the Frogs’ all-time leader in completion percentage, completing 62.9 percent of his passes. He went undrafted after missing five games last year with a broken wrist.
James Dunbar, offensive lineman
Team: Chicago Bears
Shortly after graduating from TCU on Saturday, Dunbar signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound giant started each of the Frogs’ 12 games last season, playing both left tackle and left guard for TCU. He returned to the team after being dismissed in 2012 for academic issues.
Waymon James, running back
Team: Tennessee Titans
Despite being removed from TCU’s roster in late November, James made his way onto Tennessee’s team Monday, according to KXII. James, who signed as an undrafted free agent, scored 16 rushing touchdowns and racked up nearly 1800 rushing yards in his career as a Frog.
