JUCO transfer to join TCU men’s basketball

6-foot-7 forward Kenrich Williams will join the TCU men’s basketball team next season after transferring from New Mexico Junior College, according to a press release

Williams earned all-conference honors at NMJC, averaging 10.1 points and almost 60 percent shooting per game. The Waco native previously played for Waco University and AAU team Texas Rise.

During his final year at Waco University, Williams averaged 14.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals en route to 2013 District 8-4A Defensive Player of the Year honors, according to the release.

Williams will have three years of eligibility with the Frogs.
