Sophomore hurdler Jordan Moore won his second career Big 12 title Sunday on the final day of the Big 12 Conference Outdoor Championships in Lubbock, Texas.

“It’s a blessing,” Moore said in a press release. “It’s another addition to my résumé and it’s just a blessing, that’s all I can say. It’s one of the best races of my life, and I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life right now.”

Moore tied a school record to win the 110-meter hurdles. The three-time Georgia state champion matched former TCU star LaTarence Dunbar’s time of 13.64 seconds.

“Jordan rose to the occasion and competed really well,” TCU track and field coach Darryl Anderson said in the release. “He ran a personal best and he continues to get better.

Also a wide receiver for the TCU football team, Moore won the 60-meter hurdles indoor title on March 1. He’ll next head to Fayetteville, Ark., for the NCAA West Preliminaries.

“Now the next step is the first round of the NCAA meet,” Anderson said. “He’s got a great opportunity to come out of there and go to Eugene, Oregon.”
