Moments after TCU baseball earned its fourth super regional berth in school history Sunday night, four Frogs were named to the 2014 All-Fort Worth Regional team.

Sophomore left fielder Boomer White won regional MVP while teammates Garrett Crain, Brandon Finnegan and Trey Teakell were also honored.

White was the hero of TCU’s first two games of the tournament, coming through with two clutch RBIs when the Frogs needed it most. He had seven hits, two runs and four RBIs on the weekend.

The Houston native was one vote shy of an unanimous selection. He was also selected as an All-Regional outfielder.

Crain, a junior second-baseman, finished the weekend with five hits and an RBI.

Finnegan earned his All-Regional selection as a starting pitcher for his performance against Siena Friday night. The lefty threw 12 strikeouts and had an ERA of 1.23.

Teakell garnered the sole spot as the regional team’s relief pitcher. Teakell pitched 7.1 innings and allowed only four hits in his time on the mound.

With Sunday night’s win, TCU will host a super regional next week against Pepperdine.
