First-year student Kela Gray earned Women’s Soccer Big 12 Player of the Week honors for her performances against SMU and North Texas last weekend.
Gray has scored a goal in each of her last three matches, and she is quickly becoming a staple in the TCU Starting XI.
College Sports Madness also chose Gray as the Big 12 Player of the Week.
Gray is tied for the team lead with four goals and has played an influential role in the Frogs’ six-game winning streak.
The first-year forward started both games and tallied five shots in total. Gray played 44 minutes against the Mustangs and 48 minutes at UNT.
This is the first conference award for Gray. Gray’s next game will be a home game Friday against West Virginia at 7 p.m.
