Quarterback Trevone Boykin and linebacker Paul Dawson were selected as the Offensive and Defensive Big 12 Players of the Week on Monday.

Boykin was recognized for the second time in his career, while Dawson was given his first Big 12 weekly award.

Boykin accounted for 395 of TCU’s 469 yards of total offense. He completed 20-of-38 passes for 318 yards and led the team in rushing with 77 yards on 22 carries. After throwing for two touchdowns Saturday, Boykin now has 13 total touchdowns through four games this season.

Paul Dawson sealed TCU’s upset win over Oklahoma with a 41-yard interception return for a touchdown that gave TCU a 37-33 lead. The senior linebacker also totaled 11 tackles in the victory.
