TCU women’s tennis progressed in both singles and doubles to the next round of the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships in Waco, Texas.

TCU Freshman Alexis Pereira earned two straight wins over ranked opponents on Saturday. She defeated No. 65 Ines Deheza of Texas A&M with 6-2, 6-2. Next, Pereira went up against teammate and No. 31 Stefanie Tan in the quarterfinal. Pereira lost the second set, but came back to win against her fellow Horned Frog, according to GoFrogs.com.
