The investigation into an assault allegation from Nov. 1 is still underway as the woman who made the complaint is not cooperating, said Cpl. Tracey Knight, public relations officer of the Fort Worth Police Department.
The Sex Crimes Unit is still investigating the offense, but no arrests have been made, said Knight.
On Nov. 1 at 2:30 a.m. the TCU Police received a report that a female student was sexually assaulted in a TCU residence hall by a known acquaintance.
The crime alert sent out to the TCU community identified the offender as, “a white male, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, 19 to 21 years of age with short, dirty blond, wavy hair, two-day-old facial hair and speaks with a French accent.”
More often than not victims tend not to pursue the case or press charges, said Leah Carnahan, assistant dean of Campus Life and coordinator of TCU Victim’s Advocate Program.
No further details have been released from the Fort Worth Police regarding the investigation.
