TCU crushes MVSU 106-53 for fourth straight win

The TCU men’s basketball team continued their run of dominance with a 106-53 shellacking of the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils at Wilkerson-Greines Monday night.

The Frogs used a 20-0 run in the first half to race out into the lead. Their 60-point output in the first half was the ninth-highest scoring first half in school history.

Kyan Anderson scored his game-high 19 points in just 12 minutes of playing time. He now ranks as the 13th all-time highest scorer in TCU basketball history.

The Frogs shot 68.8 percent in the first half, while MSVU shot just 20 percent.

Other double figure scorers for the Frogs included Devonta Abron, Hudson Price, and Link Kabadyundi.

Kabadyundi put up 12 points on a perfect 5-5 night from the field. It was the freshman’s first double-digit effort as a Horned Frog.

It was the first time TCU cracked the century mark in points in regulation since the Frogs scored 108 against USF in 2002. All 14 players who suited up for the Frogs scored.

The win moved TCU to 4-0 on the season. This marks the first time the Frogs are 4-0 since the 2007-2008 season.

TCU will host Radford Wednesday night at Wilkerson-Greines.
