TCU was favored to win the Peach Bowl by three points. The Horned Frogs ended up winning by 39.

TCU’s defense was dominant throughout and the Frogs threw four touchdowns in the 42-3 victory.

The 39-point margin of victory is the largest in TCU football’s bowl history.

TCU sacked Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace five times in the first half and held the Rebels to 129 yards of total offense.

The Horned Frogs also intercepted Wallace three times, including a pick-six in the Rebels’ end zone to extend the lead to 28-0 with two minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Quarterback Trevone Boykin completed 22 of his 31 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

Running back Aaron Green caught a 31-yard strike from Kolby Listenbee to open the scoring, and also rushed for 68 yards and another score.

Junior wide receiver Josh Doctson broke TCU’s school record for receiving yards in a single-season in his 59-yard, two-touchdown performance.

TCU football scored the most points in a bowl game in school history, and has now scored at least 30 points in 15 consecutive games.

The total attendance for the game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta was 65,706.
