Boykin threw for a record-breaking 3,901 passing yards and 33 touchdown passes during the Frogs’ 2014 campaign. He finished fourth in the Heisman voting and was also named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
Heisman Trophy winners Robert Griffin III and Johnny Manziel as well as the 2011 Rose Bowl champion TCU Horned Frogs have been featured on past winter covers.
In addition to season recaps for all 12 Texas FBS teams, this edition of the magazine will include a “main feature on the battle between TCU and the Baylor Bears for Texas supremacy, written by the Houston Chronicle’s David Barron,” according to TexasFootball.com.
The magazine hits Texas shelves Jan. 28, according to the website.
