Hungry hungry Horned Frogs, ask and you shall receive.
TCU installed four new restaurants in the multipurpose facility to meet the needs of hungry students.
Magnolia’s, the facility’s bistro option, brings students a treat for their taste buds. Whether you’re looking to eat healthy or looking to gorge yourself, Magnolia’s has something to offer.

The menu changes daily, giving students the opportunity to mix up their meals and try a variety of different dishes.
For students who like to eat on the healthier side, Magnolia’s serves an assortment of salads. Salad options include Caesar, mixed greens and a mixed berry salad with fresh avocado.
The mixed berry salad offers a more gourmet taste as compared to the salads offered at Market Square.
Magnolia’s also offers home-style cooking, which is perfect for those students craving some comfort food.
Pot roast was served on the day I visited the bistro, and it tasted just like my mother’s home cooking, with steam rising from the pan. It would serve as a great pick-me-up on a bad day.

If you haven’t tried Magnolia’s for yourself, here are a few tips to help make your dinning experience enjoyable.
TRY:
Make sure you save room for dessert. Warm and fresh out of the oven, Magnolia’s cookies are a perfect addition to a lunch or dinner entrée.
The pasta entrées are also a must-try. Cheese ravioli was on the menu the day I visited, and it was paired with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes and topped with a light cream sauce.
The ravioli tasted delicious and was similar to pastas at restaurants like Olive Garden. The portion size was perfect and well worth the $6.29 price tag.
AVOID:
Avoid the stir-fry or any other entrée you can get at Market Square. Foods like these are not worth spending your campus cash on. Instead, you can use a swipe for similar meals at Market Square that taste relatively the same.
The bistro is open Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner is served from 5p.m. to 9p.m.
